Luxurious and Long Is A Must for Spring 2011

September 17, 2010

The last day of Fashion Week in New York,  J. Mende inspired  us by the fluid and graceful movements of ballet dancers.  Designer Gilles Mendel, who also created designs for the New York City Ballet, created fluid pleated short skirts and mini dresses and silver fox boleros intricately worked and meshed with luxurious and delicate fabrics.   The models walked  to the Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve, revealing maxi skirts and pleated chiffon cut on the ankle and feminine evening dresses in shades of gray-blue, peach, and pink.  For the beach lover in all of us J. Mendel bohemian chic  collection also offered cocktail dresses with clean lines in length and with asymmetrical shapes worn with flat scandals.  We love J. Mendel fashions!  Gilles Mendel has created the perfect collection for a chilly California evening out at the Viceroy in Santa Monica.  A fashionable beach find indeed!
